Netflix Animated Feature ‘In Your Dreams’ Wakes Up with New Trailer & Images

A whimsical, original lullaby is tuning up to whisk Netflix viewers away on a fantastical animated adventure-comedy in In Your Dreams, the upcoming CG feature from accomplished animation story artist and producer Alex Woo. Produced by Netflix Animation and Woo’s Kuku Studios, the family flick dropped a new trailer and images ahead of its November 14 release.

Synopsis: In Your Dreams is a comedy adventure that follows Stevie and her brother Elliot as they journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true … the perfect family.

The film stars up and coming talents Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie and Elias Janssen as Elliot, alongside Craig Robinson as their talking plush giraffe sidekick, Baloney Tony. The cast also features Simu Liu as Dad, Cristin Milioti as Mom, Omid Djalili as Sandman, Gia Carides as Nightmara, YouTuber SungWon Cho as Chad and Broadway’s Zachary Noah Piser as Joon Bae/Polly.

In Your Dreams marks the feature directorial debut of Alex Woo, who is known for his Student Academy Award-winning short film Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher, his story artist work on Pixar features including Incredibles 2, Finding Dory, WALL-E and Ratatouille, and for co-creating/exec producing the Daytime Emmy-winning preschool series Go! Go! Cory Carson, produced by the studio he founded and leads as CEO, Kuku Studios.

Fellow Pixar alum Erik Benson (Go! Go! Cory Carson, The Good Dinosaur, Toy Story 4) is the film’s co-director, and wrote the screenplay with Woo, from an original story by Woo and Go! Go! Cory Carson writer Stanley Moore.

In Your Dreams is produced by Timothy Hahn, p.g.a. and Gregg Taylor, p.g.a. Oscar-nominated composer John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Greatest Showman, The Emperor’s New Groove) provides the music.
