Trailer: Sam Fisher Is Back in Action in Netflix’s ‘Splinter Cell: Deathwatch’ Animated Series

Netflix subscribers are gearing up for the streamer/studio’s next adult animation video game adaptation, today getting their first look at the official trailer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. The 8 x 30′ 2D series will launch October 14.

Logline: In this first-ever adaptation of the acclaimed stealth video game franchise Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, legendary agent Sam Fisher is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks out his help.

The voice cast is led by Liev Shreiber as Sam Fisher and Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Zinnia Mckenna. 

Deathwatch is produced by Ubisoft, in partnership with writer/executive producer Derek Kolstad (John Wick), and animation studios Sun Creature (Denmark/France) and Fost (France).

Guillaume Dousse, one of the Sun Creature artists who worked on the studio’s Love, Death + Robots short Alternate Histories is the series director, with Félicien Colmet-Daage (animation director, The Summit of the Gods) as co-director. Alongside Kolstad, executive producers are Helene Juguet, Hugo Revon and Gerard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film & Television.
