Netflix’s newest animated kids on the block, the family owner-proprietors of Matt Roller’s (Rick and Morty) Haunted Hotel, pay homage to the streamers’ break-out smash-hit animated feature KPop Demon Hunters in a new music video, featuring a fire and brimstone cover of the Billboard Top 10 charting tune “Your Idol” by Saja Boys.
If Abaddon, the demon boy from the new animated series Haunted Hotel, was to write a song about his life, it would 100% be “Your Idol” from KPop Demon Hunters. Jimmi Simpson, the voice of Abaddon, performs a “Your Idol” cover in this special Haunted Hotel music video. Haunted Hotel and KPop Demon Hunters are both now playing, only on Netflix.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans and produced by Sony Pictures Animation, KPop Demon Hunters is Netflix’s No. 1 English-language movie of all time (still rocking at No. 2 in the most recent Netflix Top 10 weekly report; its 14th consecutive week on the chart), with a sequel currently in discussion between the studios. The film’s original music has also slayed the Billboard charts all summer long, with “Golden” by HUNTR/X still at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and “Your Idol” at No. 6, just behind the Saja Boys’ bubbly single “Soda Pop.”
Created by Roller, Haunted Hotel is a new 10 x 30′ 2D animated series about a single mother of two struggling to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas. The series stars Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skylar Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Simpson. Titmouse produces the animation.
