YouTube Stars MrBeast and Salish Matter Join ‘Angry Birds Movie 3’ Flock for 2026 Release

The feisty flock has grown with two new voice star additions to The Angry Birds Movie 3. Paramount Pictures today announced that YouTubers MrBeast and Salish Matter have joined the cast for the threequel, as well as revealing that the movie will release a month earlier than previously announced. The Birds will be back in theaters on December 23, 2026 (previously slated for January 29, 2027).

The social media influencers — who combined boast 438 million subscribers on YouTube as of September 2025 (435M for MrBeast alone) — join previously announced returning voice stars Jason Sudeikis as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver and Danny McBride as Bomb, alongside Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, Sam Richardson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, James Austin Johnson and Psalm West.

The Angry Birds Movie 3 is directed by John Rice (The Angry Birds Movie, Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe) with a screenplay by Thurop Van Orman (creator of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack), who is also executive producing alongside Toru Nakahara, SEGA’s Senior Executive Officer for film and television. Angry Birds creators Rovio and SEGA will produce alongside Namit Malhotra and his production company Prime Focus Studios, in partnership with Flywheel Media, One Cool Group and dentsu. The film is produced by John Cohen, Dan Chuba, and Carla Connor.
