‘A PAW Patrol Christmas’ to Greet Santa Early in Theaters in Select Territories Next Thursday

The popular pooches of PAW Patrol will be wagging their tails for Santa a few weeks before Christmas this year. The upcoming special A PAW Patrol Christmas is getting a limited international theatrical release. The 44-minute special, which will feature original and classic holiday songs and a story following construction-savvy pup Rubble, will be screening in 3,600 theaters across 17 countries and territories outside the U.S. Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Paramount Pictures and Spin Master have joined forces to make this happen on Thursday, Oct. 30th before the special premieres on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.

A bonus 11-minute episode of the show titled “A Jr. Patroller’s Christmas” is also packaged into the theatrical run. In the new episode, the Patrollers are tricked into helping Mayor Humdinger steal everyone’s stockings at a Christmas Eve sleepover so he can get all the presents. It will also then launch on Nick and Paramount+ at a later date.  Spin Master Entertainment is producing this offering

In the special, PAW Patrol member Rubble looking forward to Santa bringing him a new laser drill, but finding that Santa has come down with a cold and can’t deliver any presents. When Mayor Humdinger decides he’s going to the North Pole to take all the gifts for himself, it’s up to the PAW Patrol to stop him.

The special, which is the first PAW Patrol offering to debut on CBS will debut on the network on  November 28. It’s part of a previously announced package of hour-long specials each centering on a different pup, which began rolling out this fall with Valiente: A Tracker Story.The remaining specials are set to premieres on Nickelodeon next year, along with the Season 12 of the popular preschool show.
