Animated ‘David’ Movie Rises to the Challenge with New Teaser

Angel Studios has released the first teaser trailer and teaser artwork for their upcoming animated musical epic David. Directed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Dawes of Sunrise Animation Studios, the feature film will be released exclusively in theaters on December 19, distributed by Angel.

The project is the highest-rated film undertaking among the crowdfunding Angel Guild members in the studio’s history, scoring 98 out of 100. As recently announced, the voice cast is led by multi-platinum selling artist Phil Wickham as the adult David and actor, dancer and singer Brandon Engman as young David.

Synopsis: In a kingdom torn by fear and corruption, a shepherd boy is called to stand against a giant and the darkness behind him. From the quiet hills of Bethlehem to the roar of the battlefield, his journey will shape kings, test hearts and reveal that the greatest strength is found in trust, not power.
