If you like your classic cartoons on the spooky side, you’re in for some proper vintage animation tricks ‘n’ treats galore this month! In the lead up to Halloween, MeTV’s weekday morning series Toon in with Me will present a two week programming event, Toon in with Me’s Boo Bash, from October 20-31 as part of the network’s annual celebration Svengoolie’s BOO-nanza.
Hosted by Bill the Cartoon Curator and starring Toony the Tuna along with Mr. Quizzer, Toon in with Me is a fresh take on the timeless and enduring hosted morning shows of decades past aimed at viewers of all ages. The show combines original characters, quick comedy sketches, games, surprises and more as it presents classic theatrical cartoon shorts.

Monday, Oct. 20 – Friday, Oct. 31 | 7-9 a.m. ET/PT
- “Chilling Traditions” (Monday, October 20) Bill and Toony explore eerie traditions from long ago including headless portraits, cemetery picnics and coffin decorating.
- “Tales of Poe” (Tuesday, October 21) Bill and Toony reimagine classic Poe stories.
- “TIWM’s Horror Show” (Thursday, October 23) Bill and Toony give their interpretation of classic horror films.
- “Do You Want to Play with Me?” (Friday, October 24) Bill’s an avid toy collector, but the latest additions to his collection have Toony creeped out.
- “Headless Horseman” (Monday, October 27) Bill and Toony retell the Headless Horseman legend.
- “Scariest Places on Earth” (Tuesday, October 28) Bill and Toony set out on an adventure to visit some of the scariest places on the planet including the most haunted city in the United States, Savannah, Georgia and the Island of the Dolls in Mexico City.
- “Zombie Makeover” (Wednesday, October 29) Bill and Toony produce a zombie movie but need a zombie to star in the flick so they enlist a special effects makeup artist to transform a staffer for the part.
- “House Monster” (Thursday, October 30) Bill and Toony visit spooky houses to get into the Halloween spirit, but Bill is in for an unexpected surprise at the last house known for turning visitors into Halloween decorations.
