Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast — the world’s most-subscribed creator — is bringing his larger-than-life universe to animation with MrBeast Lab, a new short-form series premiering October 26 on YouTube. The show brings audiences into an anime-inspired world filled with bold characters and high-energy storytelling.
Intended for a general audience, MrBeast Labs follows Jimmy’s daring rescue after he’s captured by interdimensional villains known as the Shroud. His only hope lies with his heroic Beast creations — led by Panthar, Battle Banana and other fan-favorite characters from the MrBeast Lab universe — who must band together to save him and, ultimately, the world.
“Making animated content has always been one of my biggest dreams,” said Donaldson. “We’ve been going all-in and we’re so psyched for the fans to see this series — this is just the start!”
Each of the 10 episodes are approximately three minutes and will premiere exclusively on the Beast Animations YouTube channel, which currently has more than seven million subscribers. The first two episodes debut October 26, followed by new episodes released weekly through December. The series will be available in 12 languages.
The voice cast roster for MrBeast Labs will include Donaldson, Cory Yee (Genshin Impact), Julie Nathanson (Hot Wheels Let’s Race), Fred Tatasciore (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur), Todd Haberkorn (Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir), Jonathan Ha (Sakamoto Days) and Vanessa Marshall (Guardians of the Galaxy animated series), with special appearances by Karl Jacobs and Nolan Hansen from the Beast crew.
“We’re always exploring new ways to create content that not only entertains but also connects with our fans in innovative formats,” said Jeffrey Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries. “With YouTube giving us the ability to distribute directly, we’ve been able to grow our collaboration with Moose Toys and bring the MrBeast Lab toys universe to life.”
Moose Toys, which partnered with MrBeast to launch a global franchise in 2024, continues to collaborate with the MrBeast team in building out this world across their products and storytelling. The partnership is expanding with the MrBeast Lab animated series, the first venture launched by Moose Toys Super Studios, whose mission is to expand Moose properties through storytelling.
“In partnering with Jimmy, Moose understands that the new rules for entertainment are written by blockbuster content creators. Inspired by Jimmy’s incredible YouTube persona, we’re reaching new audiences and building the franchise through our new animated series, while being true to the bold, exciting universe MrBeast has created,” said Stephen Davis, Chief Franchise Officer, Moose Toys and head of Moose Toys Super Studios.
MrBeast Lab is produced by Australia-based Studio Moshi as its animation partner, Henry Gilroy wrote the shorts in collaboration with Moose Toys Super Studios. Executive producers for the show include Jimmy Donaldson, Jeff Housenbold and Michael Cruz for Beast Industries, Stephen Davis and Paul Solomon for Moose Toys Super Studios, Andrew Davies for Moshi, Henry Gilroy and Mike Roberts. All 10 episodes are directed by Mike Roberts.
