‘Splinter Cell: Deathwatch’ Locks in Season 2 Mission

More special ops action is on the way, as Netflix today confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch has been renewed for a second season. Based on the hit Ubisoft video games and showrun by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, Season 1 (8 x 30′) of the animated action-adventure series is now streaming.

In the show, legendary agent Sam Fisher (voiced by Liev Schreiber) is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks out his help. The series also features Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Zinnia Mckenna.

Kolstad serves as series writer, and as executive producer alongside Helene Juguet, Hugo Revon and Gerard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film & Television. The series director is Guillaume Dousse (Love, Death + Robots) with Félicien Colmet-Daage (Summit of the Gods) as co-director.

The Netflix animated series is produced by Ubisoft in partnership with Kolstad and animation studios Sun Creature and Fost.
