Alongside announcing the new appointments, God’s Gang CEO Nimrod Avraham May answered a few questions about his home-grown animation brand celebrating interfaith values and positive storytelling:
Can you tell us a bit about your position at God’s Gang?
I am the creator of the God’s Gang universe, a member of the creative team in regards to the episode’s writings and I also act as the CEO of the company.
What are some of your priorities in the year ahead?
Community comes first — so building the audience for our show. As we are an independent private company which chose to stream online through social media and partnerships, the priorities are to secure distribution deals, attract the right partners and deliver happiness in every touch points, from our team to our audience and partners involved in the God’s Gang project.
How do you plan to distinguish your work from other animation studios?
We refer to our work as a very needed “energy” in the world, promoting unity and love in a world experiencing polarization, fear and confusion in regards to our present and future. We tell “spiritual” stories where the action, adventure and comedy is the outer layer pulsing in a heart filled with love and light.
Where is the bulk of the animation produced?
In Indonesia, Infinite Frameworks is the studio we hired. It’s very important for us to work with a global team, diverse, inclusive and inline with our series, shared human values of kindness, compassion, unity, co-existence and an interfaith society.
What is your stance on AI in animation?
We are using AI only to grow the audience and the community and not in the animation of our episodes, realizing that authenticity is something the fans are expecting to see in a series like ours.
How many animated projects do you have in your pipeline for 2026 and beyond?
Only Gods Gang!
What are you looking for in partnerships?
We look for mindlike partners who realize that positive and hope-bearing content is needed now more than ever. We look for partners who value our vision and mission to bring stories that will inspire us to build bridges, to unite and to be a beacon of light in the world.
