Spin Master (spinmaster.com) announces a brand-new special for its hit fantasy-adventure franchise Unicorn Academy is ready to unwrap a magical adventure in time for the holiday season. The 44-minute episode, titled Winter Solstice, will debut globally on Netflix on Thursday, November 13.
Logline: When the annual delivery of festive gifts doesn’t arrive from Dwerpin Village, unicorn riders of Sapphire Dorm set out on a snowy adventure to solve the mystery and to save Winter Solstice!
In tandem with the launch of the Winter Solstice special on Netflix, Spin Master will roll out a full slate of YouTube content — including an all-new original music video, plus quizzes, Easter eggs and an exclusive insider preview that teases what’s to come before the special airs.
Winter Solstice marks the show’s second special release of the year, following the debut of Legendary Summer on April 9, timed with National Unicorn Day. Together, all three chapters of Unicorn Academy have racked up an impressive 19 million views in just the first half of 2025.
Since its debut in November 2023, Unicorn Academy has expanded its global footprint and the international fanbase continues to grow, actively engaging across social platforms with short-form content on YouTube and TikTok (@UnicornAcademy), and streaming the series’ music — now surpassing 20 million streams.
