Dwayne Johnson has signed on to voice a tough Texas steer in the animated feature Holy Cow!, Variety reports.
The project is a joint effort between Johnson’s company, White Buffalo Media, and Prana Animation Studios, which has offices in Los Angeles and Mumbai. Prana has a multipicture deal with Disney and most recently contributed to its Tinkerbell original DVD feature.
The story follows Johnson’s steer as he heads to India, where cows are worshipped instead of eaten.
Johnson next appears in Disney’s live-action Race to Witch Mountain, which opens this Friday.
