Marvel’s amazing web-slinger is set to return to theaters May 6, 2011, with the release of Spider-Man 4.
The Columbia release will debut on both regular screens and IMAX theaters, according to Variety. It also will be the first of three Marvel superhero movies to hit that summer, with Marvel Studios’ Thor due out May 20, 2011, and The First Avenger: Captain America on July 22, 2011.
Returning to the franchise are director Sam Raimi and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. The script is by Gary Ross.
