Australian animation studio Sticky Pictures announced its merger with live action production company Buster Dandy.
The new company will operate under the Sticky Pictures name, with Donna Andrews as CEO, Stu Connolly as head of animation and Justine Flynn as head of live action. The company described the merger as creating a ‘one-stop shop’ for both live action and animation production.
Both companies bring strong development slates to the table, along with completed projects including Pearlie, Five Minutes More, Dennis & Gnasher and Monster Auditions. Buster Dandy also brings a greenlit co-production sitcom series to the newly formed company that will be formally announced shortly.
