Studiocanal has signed an exclusive, long-term deal to develop, co-finance and distribute nWave’s films in France, the United Kingdom and Germany, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
France-based nWave is a 3D production and distribution powerhouse that produced Around the World in 50 Years 3D and its upcoming sequel.
Deal comes as Studiocanal looks to get into the 3D-animation business. nWave’s first 3D-animated feature was Fly me to the Moon, released in 2008.
