Actor Seth Rogen has signed on to give voice to a lead character in DreamWorks Animation’s feature film Boo U.
In addition to starring roles in live-action comedies such as the TV series Freaks and Geeks and features The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express and Funny People, Rogen has lent his voice to animated characters in Shrek the Third, Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs. Aliens.
Boo U. is directed by Tony Leondis from a script by John Mann and Jon Gunn about a ghost who has to go back to school to learn to be scarier.
Though Boo U. has no release date yet, the film will be made in stereoscopic 3D.
