The Warner Bros. sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed will reveal a secret code that unlocks special features in THQs Game Boy Advance and PC games based on the live-action/CG feature due in theaters on March 26.
The code will appear on screen as Scooby-Doo plays a Game Boy Advance during the credits sequence. It will unlock an alternate ending to the movie in the Game Boy Advance title and a mini-game in the PC version.
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed for PC features the voices of film stars Matthew Lillard, Alicia Silverstone, Neil Fanning, Linda Cardellini and Scott McNeil. It and the Game Boy Advance version are now available at retailers throughout North America.
According to THQ, the company has sold more than four million Scooby-Doo games worldwide since 2000. Imbedding secret game codes in feature films is a growing trend seen recently in Universals The Hulk.
