Acme Arsenal, Duck Amuck Unleashed

Gamers who also happen to be fans of classic Warner Bros. cartoons can enjoy the best of both worlds with today’s release of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal for the Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 2, and Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck for Nintendo DS. Both titles were designed to look and feel like the cartoons many gamers grew up with, while offering fun and challenging gameplay.

Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal was developed by Redtribe and allows players to join forces with such popular Looney Tunes characters as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian and Gossamer. Players command an arsenal of ACME melee and projectile weapons, embark on puzzle solving challenges and blast through vehicle-based action set in the Looney Tunes world fleshed out with next-gen graphics and real-time lighting. The title features seven playable characters and two-player co-op action on all consoles. Gamers can also enjoy two-player cooperative gameplay on the Xbox LIVE online network, and four-player battle mode on the Wii and Xbox 360 systems. The Wii version offers the opportunity to use the gesture controls in fighting, spin attacks and smash attacks, while the PlayStation 2 game features an exclusive Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner chase level.

Developed exclusively for Nintendo DS by WayForward Technologies, Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck stars Daffy Duck in a send-up of the classic Chuck Jones cartoon of the same name. Using the DS stylus, players antagonize and infuriate Daffy, who responds to the poking and prodding in humorous ways. He also competes with the player in a series of mini-games inspired by familiar Looney Tunes adventures. The title also features wireless multi-player gameplay.
