Toon Boom Animation today released Toon Boom Studio 5, a completely rebranded update of its popular animation software.
Chief among the program’s new features is a stop-motion animation capability, and a simplified user interface that makes it easier to use for hobbyists and pros alike.
Toon Boom Studio 5’s features include:

‘ Live view/image capture, which lets you see images exactly as they will appear in the movie
‘ The ability to change backgrounds using chroma key screens (green- and bluescreens)
‘ Tools to position and align elements using onion skinning

‘ Improved image playback optimization
‘ Annotation layers for feedback
‘ The ability to easily export animation directly to YouTube or Facebook
‘ Tools to import Flip Boom Classic and Animation-ish projects to bring them to the next level
‘ An enhanced, colorful user Interface
