Toy Co. Wyncor Launches Media Division for TV, Games & Immersive Expansions

Global toy company Wyncor — which has sold several million units in less than 24 months and has products on sale in 40 countries — today announced the launch of Wyncor Media, a new division dedicated to developing content extensions of its original IP.

Wyncor Media will focus on transforming the company’s toy brands into animated and live-action series, digital shorts, casual and mobile games, and immersive formats designed for today’s digitally native generation.

To lead the global rollout of this content slate, Wyncor has appointed Erick Rouillé as Vice President of Global Distribution, effective August 1. Based in Paris, Rouillé brings over 30 years of experience in international television sales, brand management and licensing, having held senior roles at The Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks Animation and Saban Consumer Products, Mediawan, Xilam Animation, Planeta Junior and France TV Distribution.

“We are really proud to welcome Erick as we accelerate the global rollout of Wyncor’s original IP. His leadership will be key in meeting the growing demand for our content, created to entertain kids and families around the world,” said Julian Jacob, Founder & CEO of Wyncor. “As we take our storytelling ambitions to the next level, Erick is the ideal person to lead this charge. His deep expertise and global vision will be instrumental as we reimagine our IP. And he’s just the beginning — Wyncor Media will be expanding its team significantly in the coming months.”

Kwaaks

Wyncor Media’s first slate of projects will spotlight the company’s breakout original brand, Kwaaks!, a line of colorful, collectible duck characters. The content roadmap includes short-form animations for YouTube and TikTok, serialized animated series, and accessible mobile and web-based games — all designed to bring its characters and worlds to life in fresh, interactive ways.

“Wyncor’s toy IP is full of energy, originality, and personality — perfect fuel for content creation,” said Rouillé. “I’m excited to help bring these universes to life and build connections with kids through the formats they love most.”

Established in 2022 by Julian Jacob, Wyncor’s toy brands portfolio also includes Miraball, the ultimate collectible with three “Little but Legendary” surprises inside; SwopPop, a patent-pending line of customizable “minipop” fashion bags; Mon Ami, a 9½-inch plush line featuring glossy, glittery eyes; and Oozy Squeezy, a tactile, sensory-driven series full of surprises. The company also operates a licensing business working with major studios and brands, including Paramount, Hasbro, the Emoji Company, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Peppa Pig, Transformers and more.
