Next month, family audiences across the country can help unravel a magical mystery set in a land inspired by ancient China in The Royal Cat, a new CG-animated feature import releasing on Digital on October 14 through Well Go USA Entertainment. The movie will be available with English-language dub.
Directed by first-time filmmaker Liang Cao, the film was nominated for a Golden Goblet as Best Animated Film at the 2024 Shanghai International Film Festival. The Royal Cat also hits Blu-ray (SRP $29.98) and DVD (SRP $19.99) exclusively through Amazon on October 14.
Synopsis: In an ancient city full of magic and mystery, a curious young apprentice and a clever, tailless talking cat team up to solve two strange cases: the missing crown prince and townspeople turning into animals! With the Mid-Autumn Festival fast approaching, this unlikely duo must uncover a royal secret and save the day before it’s too late.
