NYCC: Paramount Intros ‘World of TMNT’ Hub and Unveils ‘Tales of the TMNT’ Season 2

The heroes in a half shell are ready to take fans on their next big adventure! Paramount+ today released the official trailer for Season 2 of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — the hit 2D-animated series from the universe of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem — and it’s just the beginning of an all-new era for the franchise.

The trailer gives fans a first look at what’s next for Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello as they face fresh threats and new allies in a city that’s more alive — and mutating — than ever. Produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures, Tales of the TMNT returns this December, exclusively on Paramount+.

The trailer’s debut kicks off a larger celebration: the launch of World of TMNT, an expansive new initiative uniting the entire TMNT universe under one shell.

“With the launch of World of TMNT, we’re inviting fans to experience the full power of the franchise like never before,” said Rebecca Mall, President, Cross Company Initiatives, Franchise & Corporate Marketing, Paramount. “This is more than nostalgia. It’s a bold celebration of every era of Turtle storytelling. From comics to screen to collectibles, TMNT continues to evolve while staying true to the heart of what makes these heroes so iconic.”

World of TMNT brings together over 40 years of Turtle Power across films, series, games, comics and merchandise, now accessible through a single hub at TheWorldofTMNT.com. For the first time ever, fans can explore the complete TMNT legacy, from the original Eastman & Laird comics and ‘90s live-action classics to Mutant Mayhem and beyond — more than 10 unique iterations of the franchise — all within one unified brand and visual identity.

At launch, World of TMNT spotlights six television series, three movie franchises, hundreds of comic books and countless collectibles, including:

  • Eastman & Laird comics
  • Fred Wolf TV series
  • 1990s live-action films
  • 2003 series
  • 2012 series
  • Michael Bay films
  • Rise of the TMNT
  • TMNT: Mutant Mayhem
  • Tales of the TMNT

Paramount expands the World of TMNT with Iconic Origins: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a new limited-series documentary podcast chronicling the radical rise and enduring legacy of the world’s most beloved mutant heroes. Hosted by Gen Z creator Ben of the Week (Benjamin De Almeida), the eight-episode series features exclusive interviews with TMNT creators, artists and voice talent, tracing the Turtles’ journey from indie comic to global phenomenon.
