Pre-MIPCOM Round-Up: Animated Offerings from Studio 100, Moon-Keys, Digitoonz & More

Louca, the CG-animated adaptation of the hit French comic-book series, distributed by Studio 100 International (studio100international.com), is heading to MIPCOM with an impressive lineup of broadcast and streaming partners already on board. Ahead of the market, the series has secured multiple pre-sales and co-production deals, led by commissioning broadcaster TF1. Additional partners include RTBF (Belgium), TFOU Max (France), RTS (Switzerland) and TV5 Monde, with several more in final negotiations.

The animated comedy series (26 x 22’ — delivery in first half of 2026) follows Louca, a kind-hearted but clumsy teenager who dreams of becoming a football hero — with a little help from Nathan, the ghost of his school’s former team captain. Only Louca can see Nathan, and together they navigate friendship, self-belief, and the unpredictable highs and lows of growing up.

Louca is a co-production between French producer Media Valley (Gifted) and Belgian producer Belvision (Marsupilamis), directed by Cyril Adam (Miraculous Ladybug). Studio 100 International is also handling global licensing and merchandising, with TF1 Licensing managing these rights in French-speaking territories.

Silly Crocodile [Epic Story Media]
Epic Story Media’s (epicstorymedia.com) content distribution branch, Epic Story Media Distribution, has acquired the global distribution rights to the successful short-form series, Silly Crocodile. The show will be introduced to buyers at MIPJunior and MIPCOM, where visitors can find the company at the Canadian Pavilion (R8.E1).

Created by solo animator, narrator and producer Cory Williams, Silly Crocodile is a 3D comedy series (produced using Unreal Engine 5) for kids 3+ that follows a wildly imaginative and lovable crocodile on a journey to discover where he belongs. With the help of his quirky new friends, he learns valuable lessons about friendship, family and being yourself — even when you’re a little different!

Originally launched on YouTube in March 2019, Silly Crocodile began as an officially approved UGC project featuring the Peppa Pig toy line. The popularity of the characters (inspired by a simple wooden toy that Cory created for his kids) led to the development of original storylines and standalone character arcs, culminating in its evolution into a fully independent series.
