Karen Rupert Toliver has replaced John Cohen as VP of production at 20th Century Fox Animation, according to Daily Variety. Reporting to president Vanessa Morrison, Toliver will be instrumental in the development and production of animated feature films.
Fox snagged Toliver from Walt Disney Feature Animation, where worked as a production exec on such recent feature toons as Brother Bear, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and The Frog Princess. Most recently, she was part of the team that developed Universal’s Curious George feature.
Toliver previously served as a VP at James Pentecost Prods., where she was helping to develop the upcoming Who Framed Roger Rabbit? sequel.
