E1 Entertainment has hired former TV Loonland executive Olivier Dumont as managing director of its E1 Kids division.
Dumont will oversee all commercial and creative elements of E1 Kids, including development, production, sales, licensing and merchandising.
‘I’ve watched E1 closely over the past several years and have been impressed with its rapid growth in the Kids arena and generally as a major international entertainment group,’ said Dumont, who will report to E1 Television CEO John Morayniss. ‘I look forward to further integrating E1 Kids’ global operations as well as adding new hit series to its existing list of properties including such gems as Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom.’
Dumont previously was managing director at the Paris-based TV Loonland. He also served as managing director of SIP Animation, and worked at Europe Images International and Canal J.
