DC Comics, Warner Premiere, Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Animation will present the world premiere of the animated feature film Batman: Gotham Knight at Wizard World Chicago on June 28. The evening screening will be followed immediately by a panel featuring members of the film cast and crew, including legendary animation producer Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Justice League: The New Frontier), acclaimed comics writer Brian Azzarello and Emmy Award-winning television writer Alan Burnett. Other filmmakers and voice talent are expected to participate as well.

Coming to DVD and Blu-ray on July 8, Batman: Gotham Knight is the third release in DC Universe series of PG-13 rated features based on characters from the pages of DC Comics. DC and Warner Bros. Animation talent have collaborated with distinguished anime creators to weave six interlocking stories that chronicle Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming The Dark Knight.

The DC Universe original movies series kicked off with Superman Doomsday, an adaptation of The Death of Superman, the best-selling graphic novel of all time. The hot-selling disc was followed by the critically acclaimed Justice League: The New Frontier, based on a graphic novel by Darwin Cooke. Warner Premiere plans to continue putting out two to three films a year. Gotham Knight will be followed by a Wonder Woman pic, with Green Lantern and Flash movies coming down the line.
