It’s up to animation fans if this week is duck season or rabbit season ‘ or both.
Leadign this week’s home video releases are a pair of Looney Tunes collections, Looney Tunes Super Stars: Bugs Bunny (Warner Bros., $19.98), Looney Tunes Super Stars: Daffy Duck (Warner Bros., $19.98). Each features 15 classic animated shorts starring the animation icons and directed by such legendary animators as Friz Freleng, Bob Clampett, Chuck Jones, Robert McKimson and Frank Tashlin.
Of a more recent vintage is Titan Maximum: Season 1 (Warner Bros., $19.97), collecting nine episodes of the Adult Swim series from Robot Chicken producers Tom Root, Matthew Senreich and Seth Green. The release includes such bonus features as commentaries, deleted animatics, pop-up trivia, a table read and trailers.
Also out this week are Naruto Shippuden: Vol. 12 (VIZ Media, $24.92), Penguins of Madagascar: Happy King Julien Day! (Paramount, $19.99) and Casper’s Scare School: Vol. 1 (Vivendi Entertainment, $12.99).
