Not to be outdone by its estranged big brother, the Slamdance Film Festival has announced selections for its third annual juried animation competition. Among the competitors are a number of world premieres, including Blue Room by Ivan ‘rk’ny and Sandy White; Bush Vs. Bin Laden by Darren Way; I Hate You Don’t Touch Me or Bat and Hat by Becky James; and Mammon by Robin Fuller, which is the $99 Special Animation selection. The festival will also screen animated winners of its monthly Anarchy Online competition. Other winners can be viewed at slamdance.com. Animation fans can also go to the site to purchase the first-ever Slamdance Animation Compilation DVD.
