Pajama Gladiator won the top prize for an animated film at the 2009 Student Academy Awards ceremony, held Saturday evening in Beverly Hills.
The film, made by Glenn Harmon of Brigham Young University, took the Gold Medal in the animation category, earning a cash grant of $5,000.
Winning the Silver Medal is Sebastian’s Voodoo, from Joaquin Baldwin of USC and the Bronze Medal went to Kites, from BYU’s Jed Henry. Baldwin wins a $2,000 grant, while Henry received a $1,000 grant.
The ceremony, which included presenters such as actor Gary Oldman, director John Landis and animator Andreas Deja, also presented honors in the following categories:
