Three NFB Shorts Set for Toronto Fest

Three short films from the National Film Board of Canada are set to screen at the 34th Toronto International Film Festival next month.

The films ‘ set to screen in the Short Cuts Canada section ‘ include:

Runaway, a satire by Cordell Barker that won the Petit Rail d’Or at the Cannes International Film Festival and a Special Jury Prize at the Annecy Animation Festival.

Vive la Rose, a recently completed film from director Bruce Alcock.

The Spine, the most recent film from Oscar winner Chris Landreth. The Spine was a hit at Annecy and won Best of the Festival at the Melbourne Animation Festival.

The Toronto International Film Festival runs from Sept. 10-19.
