The organizers of Cartoon Connection aim to bring together the Latin American and European animation industries to establish new relationships at the first staging of the event Nov. 25-27 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The event is being organized by CARTOON, the European Association of Animation Film, with support from the EU’s MEDIA International and the animation festival Expotoons.
About 100 professionals from 17 nations are expected to take part in the meeting, which will give participants a chance to analyze the markets on both continents.
CARTOON, based in Brussels, Belgium, promotes co-productions and global distribution of European animation. It stages the annual Cartoon Forum and Cartoon Movie events.
