Fox TV Signs Clone High Creators

Twentieth Century Fox Television has closed a two-year, seven-figure deal with Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the writing/producing team behind MTV’s animated comedy Clone High U.S.A, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The duo, who previously penned sitcoms for NBC and The WB, will develop both live-action and animated fare in addition to lending their talents to existing Fox comedy projects.

With Clone High U.S.A., Lord and Miller populated a high school with teenage clones of historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Joan of Arc and Buddha. The show is currently on hiatus following protests over the depiction of Mohandas Gandhi as the school party animal.
