Its back to the future for Disneys animated cheerleader-turned-superhero as Disney Channel premieres an all-new primetime Kim Possible movie on Friday, Nov. 28. This time, the red-headed teen crusader is joined by a host of Hollywood stars in Kim Possible: A Stitch in Time, airing at 8:00 p.m., 9:20 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. (ET/PT).
Produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, A Sitch in Time sees relentless villains Drakken, Shego, Monkey Fist and Duff Killigan join forces to steal a monkey-shaped stone called the Tempus Simia. Using the artifact, the evildoers hope to create a time portal and go back in time to crush Kim Possibles spirit before she started down her path to heroism. Kim is alerted to the plan by a visitor from the futureRufus 3000, a buffed-up, talking descendent of everyones favorite Naked Mole-rat. Kim, Rufus 3000 and Ron Stoppable must venture into the past, then into the future to try and halt the diabolical plot to change history.
The movies guest cast includes Kelly Ripa (Live with Regis & Kelly, Hope & Faith) as Future Bonnie, Freddie Prinze Jr. (Scooby-Doo) as Future Jim and Tim, Raven (That’s So Raven) as Monique, Vivica A. Fox (Boat Trip) as Future Monique, Elliott Gould (Oceans 11) as Ron’s dad, Dakota Fanning (Cat in the Hat) as the voice of Pre-Kindergarten Kim; and Michael Clark Duncan (Daredevil) as Future Wade.
"This movie allows us to give fans more of Kims backstoryher first meeting and bonding with Ron, the day she started her web site, and a few other precursors of things to come," says creator Mark McCorkle. "It was a lot of fun to explore moments to which wed only alluded before."
