9 Story Brings Bash Boys at MIPCOM

Canadian animation production and distribution studio 9 Story Ent. is heading to this year’s MIPCOM Jr. with a new animated action-comedy series titled Bash Boys. The show for kids 8-12 was first unveiled at MIPTV in April. In addition to screening the promo, International buyers attending MIPCOM Jr. will be able to peruse additional production elements, including artwork and a bible for the series at booth # 00.01.

Bash Boys revolves around a 13-year-old kid who suddenly finds out he is the father of a time-displaced 16 year old from the future, and that the fate of the world has landed squarely on their shoulders. Only time will tell if young T.J. Bash and his future son, Rick, can learn to cope with their unique situation long enough to save the future.

9 Story will also introduce broadcasters to other properties including the animated action-hero series Futz! (26×3) a co-production with TELETOON, and Best Ed, a 2D series (52×11) that revolves around the unlikely friendship between a dog and a squirrel. The show is a 9 Story original production for TELETOON Canada and Cartoon Network U.K. The company has secured pre-sale deals for the property with Cartoon Network Europe and Middle East, and with ABC in Australia.
