The CG-animated boy from the future has found a new home on Kids’ WB! Co-produced by BRB Internacional, Screen 21, Manga Entertainment., Designstorm, Daewon Media and TVE, Eon Kid will premiere on the popular Kids WB!’s block this Saturday (Oct. 22) at 10 a.m. on The CW. Originally titled Iron Kid, the show was renamed in the U.S. for legal reasons to avoid confusion with Iron Man.
The 26-part series has already premiered in international territories such as Spain (TVE-2 and Jetix), France (Jetix France), Latin America (Jetix) and Korea (KBS). The Manga-influenced adventure revolves around young Marty, a boy from the future who discovers the Fist of Eon, a robotic arm that gives him unknown powers and places him at the forefront of a centuries-old battle between good and evil. In the coming weeks, the series will also air on open-format channels in Italy, Portugal, Russia, Bulgaria, the Middle East, Ecuador and Turkey.
The new Kids’ WB! lineup kicks off this weekend with new shows Eon Kid, Magi-Nation, Will & Dewitt, Skunk Fu! and returning favorites The Batman, Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue!, Legion of Super Heroes, Tom and Jerry Tales and Johnny Test.
