Wumblers Goes to Australia

Currently airing on the Trinity Broadcasting and Smile of a Child networks, animated preschool televsion series The Wumblers is headed down under with pick ups by Australian Christian Channel (ACC) and KTV (Kids and Teens Television). Both broadcasters will begin airing show this November.

The Australian Christian Channel is a non-profit organization that airs kids programming from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Live video streaming is also made available through www.acctv.com.au/streaming.asp. Exclusive to Sky Angel (www.skyangel.com), KTV provides children’s programming for toddlers to teens.

Created by Laura Wellington, CEO of The Giddy Gander Co., The Wumblers is a heart-warming and educational collection of tales featuring Bertrum, a young Wumbler, and his best friend, Raimundo, a Spanish-speaking snail. Appreciation of diversity is a major theme of the show as each Wumbler must eventually discover what his or her true color is.

The Wumblers can be seen on Trinity Broadcasting Network on Saturday mornings at 5:30 a.m. (PT) and 8:30 a.m. (ET), and on Smile of A Child Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7 a.m. (PT) and 10 a.m. (ET). More information on the series can be found at www.wumblers.com.
