First Look at New Batman Toon

If you missed the footage of Batman: The Brave and the Bold unveiled by Cartoon Network at Comic-Con over the weekend, you can now see it on AniMagTV (www.animag.tv.) The trailer offers the first glimpse at the upcoming animated series, which steers away from Bruce Timm’s brooding Dark Knight in favor of a more whimsical take on comic creator Bob Kane’s caped crusader.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold stars Diedrich Bader (The Drew Carey Show) as the voice of Bruce Wayne and his crime-fighting alter ego, Batman. Featuring vibrant colors and kid-friendly stories, the series reaches back to the property’s simpler roots as its hero journey’s beyond the gritty streets of Gotham and teams with fellow DC Comics icons including Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Aquaman and Plastic Man. countless others will get a chance to uphold justice alongside Batman. John Di Maggio (Futruama) provides the voice of Aqua Man, and the ubiquitous Tom Kenny (SpongeBob Squarepants) voices the role of Plastic Man.

The Warner Bros. Animation production is produced by James Tucker and Linda M. Steiner, and exec produced by Sam Register. Animation directors are Ben Jones, Brandon Vietti and Michael Chang.
