Disney and ABC are getting ready for Christmas early, with the network picking the studio a special titled Prep and Landing about a pair of elves who ensure each house is ready for a visit from Santa Claus.
The special is the first program the network has picked up from its corporate colleague, Walt Disney Animation Studios, according to Variety.
Chris Williams, co-director on Bolt, originally proposed the story as a short film but later proved too busy to participate in making the special.
John Lasseter is executive producer on the project, with Dorothy McKim producing. Keven Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton are directing.
Dave Foley, Derek Richardson and Sarah Chalke have signed on as voice talent.
