KidMangoTV, a syndicated block of Porchlight Entertainment children’s programs, debuts today on ValCom Inc.’s MyFamilyTV network.
The four-hour weekday block is expected to reach more than 30 million homes through the MyFamilyTV network. KidMangoTV also will expand to a primetime block and a Saturday block in the coming months.
The block will include programs created and acquired by Porchlight, including Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Four Eyes, The Secret World of Benjamin Bear and My Goldfish is Evil.
‘Our schedule includes multiple Emmy award winning shows and kid-tested classic brands,’ said Shea Fontana, VP of children’s programming at PorchLight. ‘Plus, we’ll be introducing kids to great shows never before seen in the U.S.’
The initiative will be supported with a website, KidMango.com, which will feature family-friendly content including animation, games, comics, music and movies for kids ages 3 to 10.
