DECODE Enterprises has announced the sale of more than 200 hours of children’s programming in key markets in Central and Eastern Europe.
The sales include:
‘ The sale of Franny’s Feet, The Save-Ums!, Animal Mechanics and Bo on the GO! to Hop! In Romania.
‘ Bo on the GO! also has been sold to RTV Slovenia.
‘ In Poland, Media Service Zawada bought the home video rights to Watership Down, while Canal Plus picked up Girl Stuff, Boy Stuff, and Telewizja Polska picked up Radio Free Roscoe. The latter also has been bought by Prava I Prevodi for airing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia.
‘ In Russia, MUZ-TV has bought rights to Radio Free Roscoe and 2 x 2 has acquired rights to Bromwell High and Undergrads.
‘We’re steadily building a significant presence in this market and these deals give us a good position going into DISCOP,’ says Lara Ilie, Territory Manager at DECODE Enterprises.
