The event will include voice actors MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry, Mark Hentemann and Steve Callaghan.
The series has been nominated for an Emmy as Outstanding Comedy Series ‘ the first animated series to earn such an honor since 1961.
The episode, titled ‘Partial Terms of Endearment,’ is the second episode Fox has passed on. It is expected to be produced and released on DVD and air in syndication.
Despite the controversy surrounding the episode, MacFarlane said the show is fairly tame compared to some segs that have gotten on the air.
MacFarlane told the trade paper the furor is overblown and the episode ‘ in which Lois Griffin agrees to be a surrogate mother for a friend who unexpectedly dies ‘ offers a balanced take on the controversial subject.
“The whole last act of the show is one long debate by the family over the issue,” he said.
