Starting Sept. 19, Cookie Jar Entertainment is taking over the CBS airwaves once a week for three hours, presenting the best of its animated children’s fare in a new block called Cookie Jar TV.
The block will include such Cookie Jar programs as Busytown Mysteries, Noonbory & the Super 7 and Sabrina: The Animated Series. All the programs are compliant with educational-informational standards and will air in most markets from 7-9 a.m. and 11 a.m.-noon, with CBS’ The Saturday Early Show airing from 9-11.
The Canada-based animation producer and distributor takes over the CBS slot from DIC Entertainment, which merged with Cookie Jar last year.
