Bob Higgins, former chief creative officer at Wildbrain, has been named senior VP of children’s and family entertainment for FremantleMedia Enterprises.
The company launched its children’s and family division in the fall, with former WB/Cartoon Network exec Sander Schwartz at the helm as executive VP.
Higgins will report to Schwartz and oversee the creative direction of the division and handle acquisitions, development and sales.
Higgins’ career includes stints at Cartoon Network, Classic Media, Sony Pictures Family Entertainment and Nelvana.
