The Force is returning to Cartoon Network, with the one-hour third season premiere episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars set to air on Friday, Sept. 17, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The episode kicks off the first of 22 all-new episodes in the popular series produced by Lucasfilm Animation.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars follows the adventures of Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano as they fight the separatist forces led by Count Dooku and General Grievous.
Cartoon Network says the season two finale of the series was the highest-rated telecast of the season among all key kid demos ‘ 2-11, 6-11, 9-14.
The new season also heralds the online release Sept. 15 of a new video game titled Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, from LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment. The game is free to play, with subscriptions available that add new characters and items to the game play.
