In conjunction with the Nov. 14 release of its major motion picture Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Warner Bros. is set to release a series of new Looney Tunes shorts in theaters. These are the first original cartoons featuring the Looney gang produced by the studio in nearly a decade and the first will debut exclusively in Wal-Mart stores nationwide.
Whizzard is an updated Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote tale that has the salivating carnivore using magic spells culled from the Acme Book of Magick to finally ensnare the elusive bird. The toon can be seen only on Wal-Mart TV starting tomorrow, Nov. 1 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The other new Looney shorts will appear in theaters with Warner Bros. feature releases beginning March 26 with the world premiere of Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
