Lucasfilm and Viacom’s AtomFilms have made their 19 official selections in this year’s ‘Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge,’ a video and fan fiction competition for those making their own animated and live-action Star Wars spoofs and tributes. All the selected movies are now available for viewing and Audience Choice voting at http://starwars.atomfilms.com.

The animated entries among the latest batch of finalists include Bounty Hunter: The Interview from MooseJack Studios, The Death of Jar Jar by Damien Valentine, Forces of Fortitude by Clive Lee, IG-88: The Dancing Robot by Anton Bogaty, The Incident at Toshi Station by Mike McMahan and Surreptitious by Craig Allen.

The finalists were selected from a record-breaking number of submissions received from five continents between March and May of this year. Star Wars creator George Lucas and staff members of Lucasfilm and AtomFilms will now vote for their favorites for best animation, best short subject, best action and best fan fiction/drama. Lucas will also choose his personal favorite, to be unveiled on May 27 at Lucasfilm’s 30th anniversary Star Wars Celebration event in Los Angeles. The winning movie will also premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, May 29 at 11:25 p.m. (ET/PT).
