Ubisoft Game for Heroes

Ubisoft has signed a licensing agreement with Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group to develop and publish a video game based on the hit NBC television series Heroes. The announce was made today at Comic-Con Int’l in San Diego, which has surely attracted plenty of fans of the show about ordinary people world discover they possess extraordinary abilities such as telepathy, time travel and flight.

“We are very excited to be making the Heroes video game with Ubisoft,’ says Heroes creator and exec producer Tim Kring. ‘Time and again, Ubisoft has proven they can turn licensed properties into fantastic games.”

Heroes was one of the biggest breakout hits of 2006. The first season drew more than 14 million viewers each week and is one of the most popular shows among adults 18-49. The series is now broadcast in more than 30 countries across the globe and will return for a second season this fall.
