L.A.-based PorchLight Entertainment has secured licensing agreements with Canadian broadcasters Corus Entertainment and VRAK TV to air the feature-length CG adventure Daddy I’m a Zombie in English and French Canada, respectively. The movie, produced by Spain’s Abra Prod, will debut on Corus’ YTV on October 25 at 6:30 p.m. and on VRAK TV on November 1 at 7 p.m. Additionally, Phase 4 Films has acquired home video rights for Canada and the U.S., and rights for digital platforms in the U.S.
Aimed at kids 6-17, Daddy I’m a Zombie blends tween drama with supernatural hijinx when Goth teen Dixie wakes up in the underworld as a zombie and must quest through it to fulfill a prophecy and get back to the life she once took for granted.
Getting tired of animated Tween shows all imitating Adventure Time….
I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS! IT LOOKS SO COOL! I HAVE A FEELING THAT DIXIE IS GONNA BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE NEW ANIMATED CHARACTERS! I LOVE ANIMATION!
