Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has awarded U.K.-based SCi Games Ltd. a license to publish the forthcoming video game based on Warner Bros. Pictures supernatural action flick, Constantine, due in theaters this February.
Based on the DC Comics/Vertigo Hellblazer graphic novels, Constantine stars Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, a man who has literally been to hell and back. When he teams up with skeptical policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz from Universals Mummy franchise) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath Los Angeles.
Constantine the game is in development at Britains Bits Corp. and will be released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in time for the films release in 2005.
