Corus Ent.’s YTV has put in a production order for RollBots, a CG-animated action-comedy series being produced by Amberwood Ent. Partially funded by YTV and the Canadian Television Fund, the series for kids 6-11 will initially be comprised of 26 half hours and goes into full production this month.

Based on an original idea by Michael Milligan, RollBots centers on perfectly round robots that roll at extreme speeds on roller-coaster type tracks through Flip City, a community that contains 11 different tribes of rollbots.
